Details - Third shirt as worn when Aston Villa were competing in the Premier League for the first time in three seasons, following their play off victory over Derby County in 2018-19. The design was worn in the last game of the season for Villa as a 1-1 draw with West Ham United secured Villa's place in the Premier League for the next season, finishing 1 point clear of the relegation zone. The shirt was also worn during the clubs League Cup run as they made it to the final of the competition, before losing 2-1 against Manchester City.
