Details - Third shirt released after Wrexham won the Welsh Cup for a record 23rd time, beating Cardiff City 2-1 in the final thanks to a brace from Gary Bennett. This was the final Welsh Cup that Wrexham won after the competition changed to only allow teams in the Welsh football league system to take part in the competition between 1996-2011. Wrexham were invited to take part in the competition again in the 2011-12 season, but after a decision from UEFA to not allow Welsh clubs competing in the English football league to take part in European competitions via the Welsh Cup they were once again excluded from the competition.
