Details - Home shirt as worn when Reading finished 18th in the First Division in the 1996-97 season before being relegated to the Second Division in the next season after finishing 24th in the league, 7 points away from safety. Also worn when Reading were knocked out in the quarter finals of the 1997-98 League Cup, losing 1-0 against Middlesbrough.
