In the AFCON tournament where Senegal reached the final and set up a much-publicised showdown between Mané and fellow star Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah. Only winning 4-2 on penalties after extra time, Senegal claimed their first Africa Cup of Nations ever, after previously losing in the final twice
