Details - The end of an era as Sharp's shirt sponsorship deal expired and mobile phone giant Vodafone took its place. Worn in the 6-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League as well as in a great comeback against Spurs where United were 3-0 down at half time, only to eventually win 5-3. Manchester United finished as champions in their first season wearing the shirt before finishing 3rd the following year - the first time they finished outside the top two in the Premier League era. The Red Devils made it to the 2001-02 Champions League semi finals, being knocked out on away goals against Bayer Leverkusen.
