Details - Third shirt aas worn when Guus Hiddink took over as Real Madrid manager who after a run of poor form was sacked in February to be replaced by former Madrid manager John Toshack. Toshack led the team to a second place finish in La Liga, finishing 11 points behind champions Barcelona, and saw his team knocked out in the quarter finals of the Champions League, losing 3-1 on aggregate against Dynamo Kyiv.
