Details - Red goalkeeper shirt worn only once against Germany where they drew-1-1 in the preliminary round. England went on competing in the 2020 European Championship when the team made it to the final of the competition for the first time in their history. The game started positively for England with Luke Shaw opening the scoring for England in the 2nd minute, but a Leonardo Bonucci equaliser in the second half meant that the game would go to penalties with Italy coming out as 3-2 victors in the shoot-out.
